The fact is that nutrition labels clearly state the amount of nutrients contained in the foods and also show the quantities either in grams or in milligrams. In addition, nutrition labels must also (and, in fact do) provide the daily percentage of a particular nutrient in each serving of a particular food, and these percentages are actually based on a diet that does not exceed intake of more than two thousand calories.
Nutrition labels will therefore provide you with useful information regarding size of the serving, calories as well as calories derived from fat, percent daily value, total fat, cholesterol and sodium, total carbohydrate, protein, vitamins A and C as well as calcium and iron content.
